For the first time, celebrities Nadine Lustre and Alden Richards are working together in a single project, along with these stars.
After having two Kapamilya leading ladies, Kapuso actor Alden Richards is having his third Kapamilya leading lady with Nadine Lustre. They are paired up for a new series titled “Love, Siargao.”
To recall, Alden was paired with Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes, and both of his projects with them gained success. Before their respective successful solo careers, Lustre was half of the popular love team “JaDine” with James Reid, while Richards was half of “AlDub” with Maine Mendoza.
Nadine and Alden’s upcoming romantic series, Love, Siargao, marks their first project together. The series will be shot in Siargao and centers on two strangers, Jao and Kara, whose lives intertwine as they navigate love and personal struggles on the island. The concept is inspired by the famous “Siargao curse,” a local belief that visitors either fall in love or never leave.
Love, Siargao is expected to stream on Viu as a 26-episode romantic drama series. This is set to premiere in June.
Recently, the other stars included in the series were introduced. These stars are Coleen Garcia, Kim Ji-soo, Kyline Alcantara, Gab Lagman, Kakki Teodoro, Adrian Lindayag, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, and Christopher Diwata.
Alums of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Martinez and Maristela are coming off their stint in The Secrets of Hotel 88, while Diwata, who went viral for impersonating Taylor Lautner, is set to make his acting debut.
“The right people all in one island. Meet the complete cast of Love, Siargao, coming soon only on Viu!” the caption read. Alden previously shared that filming in Siargao may run for over a month ahead of the series’ premiere later this year.
