DV Savellano, Husband of Dina Bonnevie, Dies at 65
DINA BONNEVIE – The veteran actress posted the wake and burial details of her husband, Agriculture Undersecretary DV Savellano.
The death of Agriculture Undersecretary for Livestock Deogracias Victor Savellano or more popularly known as DV Savellano left countless people shocked and saddened. One of those saddened by the death of Dina’s husband is President Bongbong Marcos.
In his statement, Marcos Jr. described DV Savellano as a true public servant and a “dear friend”. Before he became the undersecretary for livestock in the Department of Agriculture, he has served as governor of Ilocos Sur as well as House Deputy Speaker.
Dina Bonnevie previously admitted that it was an unexpected love she found in DV Savellano as she was not anymore interested in dating when they met. He was governor of Ilocos Sur when they met.
In 2012, Dina Bonnevie and DV Savellano officially tied the knot. Sadly, recently, the Agriculture Undersecretary for Livestock passed away. On Fast Talk with Boy Abunda where the actress previously spoke about her and DV’s love story, Tito Boy recently said that she was able to talk to Dina amid reports about her husband’s death.
Tito Boy confirmed that DV died and the cause of death was abdominal aneurysm. The King of Talk expressed his prayers for Dina and the family left behind by the Agriculture Undersecretary.
Recently, Dina Bonnevie took to social media details about the wake and burial of her husband, DV Savellano. According to the actress, there will be a public viewing at the Aeternitas Chapels & Columbarium – Chapel of Hera in Batasan Hills, Quezon City from January 8 to 11. The public viewing will start at 10:00 a.m. daily.
OnJanuary 12 to 16, a wake of DV Savellano will be held at the Savellano residence in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur. His remains are set to be laid at his final resting place on January 17 at Cabugao Cemetery.
Savellano was 65 years old at the time of his death. Amid the grief, Dina Bonnevie honored her late husband, DV Savellano, with a tribute.
