VP Sara Duterte Speaks on Relationship w/ Pres. Bongbong Marcos
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos wanted her removed from the position and there is no point of return on relationship with the Chief Executive.
The issues between Pres. Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte are getting deeper and deeper. The latter has continuously thrown tirades against the former and it have now included remarks that seemingly sparked threats on the lives of Marcos Jr. and the First Lady.
Previously, Vice Pres. Duterte spoke that her final wish includes the death of Pres. Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez if an alleged plot against her succeeds. The remarks hooked the attention of the authorities.
The National Bureau of Investigation or NBI has issued a subpoena for Duterte. She is requested to appear at the headquarters of the investigation bureau on Friday and explain her remarks against Marcos Jr.
Prior to her recent statements, the Vice President accused the Chief Executive of allegedly not knowing how to be a president. According to VP Sara, she has allegedly never heard the President discuss the solutions to national problems.
When asked to rate his governance from 1-10 with 10 as the highest, the Vice President rated him “one”. According to her, she and the President did not really start as friends and they only talked about the campaign and work.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that Senator Imee Marcos is really the one that she is friends with. However, the public were also surprised when Vice Pres. Duterte claimed she told the Senator that she will exhume the remains of Marcos Sr. and throw it into the West Philippine Sea if the alleged attacks against her don’t stop.
The Marcoses have undeniably rarely reacted to the tirades of Vice Pres. Duterte. It was just after her recent remarks when the Chief Executive expressed his alarm on the statements and stressed that he will not let a threat on his life pass by.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte spoke on her relationship with Pres. Bongbong Marcos amid the issues. Based on a report on GMA News, she expressed her belief that they may not be able to sort things out anymore. She also feels that the Marcos administration wants her removal from office.
“I believe we reached the point of no return… Gusto nila akong tanggalin sa position,” Vice Pres. Duterte said.
The Vice President also claimed that House Speaker Martin Romualdez is allegedly eyeing to run for the presidency as per the report. The House Speaker has yet to comment. Previously, during her stay at the House of Representatives, Vice Pres. Duterte jested that Martin Romualdez may be surprised that she will be the new House Speaker.
