KRISTINE PH – Based on PAGASA’s 5 PM bulletin, these are the areas in signals number 1, 2, and 3 due to the severe tropical storm.
According to the 5 PM bulletin from the state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Kristine has intensified into a severe tropical storm.
Trami is the Philippines’ 11th tropical cyclone for 2024 and based on a previous article, several places across the country were put under signals number 1 and 2. This is according to 11 PM bulletin from PAGASA dated October 22.
At 4 PM, the center of the severe tropical storm was spotted at 175 km East of Echague, Isabela (16.5°N, 123.3°E) based on all available data. It has a maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 115 km/h, and central pressure of 980 hPa.
Presently, it moves Northwestward at 20 km/h.
