Series Story Example On This Day Chapter 4-A

Cheska’s POV

“It’s time Cheska, let’s go,” Papa said after opening the door of the auto I’m riding on. He sweetly offered his hand but I grabbed his arms instead and put my hands around it. “You look so beautiful darling, be happy, I’m sure he is smiling right now,” his statement which made a curve in my lips though I can feel droplets wanting to rush out of my eyes.
In a few minutes, I’ll be entering this huge antique door – the door that won’t only open me to a new beginning, but also the door that would force me to move and face the reality. It was way back in high school when I met Dom, the man who gave me memories to be cherished and love to be kept forever. He may not be the man of my dreams, but he will always be the man of my prayers. He may not be my reality, but thinking about him will always be my sweetest fantasy.

Now everything’s alive
Now everything’s revealed
And the story of my life Is all about you

I heard the song coming from the inside of the edifice. And yeah, the story of my life was all about him. I can still remember that time when Ken called me to tell me that Dom was rushed into the hospital. Right then it was as if all energy had escaped my entire being. The gentle breeze of the wind suddenly became too heavy for me. Upon arriving and seeing him running after his breath, I can’t help but rush towards him and cry, “You know why I always wanted to live? It’s because I wanted to marry you, to prove to myself that forever is real but now, I realized that forever doesn’t stop in this world…”” his words which pierced my heart.

“Hey, this is it Cheska. Daddy will always be here for you though you’re not ours alone anymore after this,” I heard Papa said which made me get myself back. Then doors were opened and my eyes saw the man in blue suit waiting for me in the altar. I couldn’t help but remember everything and allow my tears to explain both the sadness of the memories and the joy of finally fulfilling my promise.

Series Story Example On This Day Chapter 4

On this day, I surrender my heart
Here I stand, Take my hand
And I will honor every word I say
On this day.

It’s like the heaven unlocked its gate for me the moment I finally saw that the doors opened and the figure of a very beautiful lady standing in white. Right then I remembered everything. Today, 24th of August, is supposedly the day that we would be starting our journey to FOREVER. But I was wrong. Fate didn’t just played the game well, it played the game better than I was expecting and this was his game.

I used to go home at dawn, but one time a phone call broke the humdrum. Mom called me to come over to the house and we talked.

“This is for you Dom. Leave Cheska and get your life back,” the last statement that I could member from mom before I felt the severe pain in my chest. I was rushed to the hospital. The moment I got my senses back, I saw a guy in white uniform, holding an x-ray, talking to mom with his face chinning down, “. Let’s just hope and pray for a miracle to happen ma’am.” But miracles aren’t for everyone. No matter how hard we pray at times, we just can’t have it all. The least that I can do was to call everyone I wanted to be with, I called Kennu first. When Kennu entered the room, it was when Kassye let go of my arms. She went home with mom and dad thinking Kennu was there to look after me for a while. We talked and I asked him a favor, “Ken, perhaps Cheska is worried already, please call her to come over even just for a few minutes.” The next thing that happened is that she came crying towards me. The sweetest convo happened and it ended up with, “You know why I always wanted to live? It’s because I wanted to marry you, to prove to myself that forever is real but now, I realized that forever doesn’t stop in this world. Though I have to die, this love will live forever. Promise me that you’ll be happy; marry someone who can love you as much as I do,” the last statement that I gave her as she has to leave for dad and mom might arrive at any moment. By the time she left, I slept. It was over. I lost my breath, I lost my heartbeat, I lost my life. But losing it all made me live into one truth, the wedding is not the start of our journey to forever, the moment I knew her was. Forever isn’t just about growing old together; it is loving another person even when the heart beats no more.

In the next millicentric tick of the clock, the girl I have loved and will always love would be wedded to the guy who loves her like I do, my best friend, Kennu. No one knows that I am here in this edifice, just a soul, standing beside the groom who was supposed to be my best man. I know they can feel me. And now I am certain, I am happy. I will be forever happy.
