The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has several members which opposed the authorities’ search operations in the property of their church. The Pastor is faced with several allegations not only in the Philippines but as well as abroad.

Previously, the Senate invited Quiboloy into a hearing. However, the Pastor snubbed the upper chamber’s invitation for an inquiry which led to the Senate citing him for contempt and issuing an arrest order.

Previously, the Kabataan Party-list Representative has expressed his dismay on the authorities struggling to arrest high-profile personalities with arrest orders. He compared it with the authorities’ performance in arresting ordinary individuals.

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) previously announced a reward money for information that could lead to the arrest of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Reward money was also up for information on some co-accused of the Pastor.

Amid rumors and speculations that the KOJC Leader may be hiding in Davao City or someone is protecting him, only a co-accused of Quiboloy was arrested in Davao. The Court of Appeals previously released a freeze order on the bank accounts and properties of the Pastor and his church.

Recently, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) announced that the Court of Appeals has extended the Freeze Order on the assets of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and the KOJC. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the CA extended the Freeze Order until February 6, 2025.

Based on the report, the CA resolution that extended the Freeze Order on the Pastor’s and his church’s bank accounts and properties was dated August 20. The original freeze order was only valid for 20 days.

Attorney Dinah Tolentino-Fuentes, the lawyer of KOJC, has confirmed the extension of the freeze order as mandated by the Court of Appeals. The camp of the Pastor continuously assert his denial of the accusations against him.
