Is it true that Bela Padilla will no longer continue in this Kapamilya series?
A rumor surfaced that multihyphenate Bela Padilla will leave the Kapamilya primetime action drama series Blood vs Duty, and her co-star Ejay Falcon was asked about this.
Negative showbiz issues had been involving Bela’s name just recently. It was alleged that she has an “attitude” problem in her latest acting project.
Another issue against her was that she is having an alleged conflict with her BFFs Angelica Panganiban and Kim Chiu. Amid the issues, Bela maintained her silence.
In a recent article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, entertainment writer Gorgy Rula shared that they interviewed Ejay Falcon about Bela Padilla, who was rumored to be leaving Blood vs Duty.
Bela was the one who was suspected in the blind item that was released just recently, saying that she was disappointed because she was not given the chance to contribute her ideas to a teleserye she was producing.
This actress is said to be good and often have some suggestions in a project she is working on and her ideas were being considered.
However, it was said that in the teleserye she is currently working on, her contributions are not being heard, because there is already a team working on it. It was allegedly decided that this actress will just leave the project.
Most netizens who read this blind item speculated that Bela Padilla was the subject. However, Ruls shared that they still remember that Bela said that she had no knowledge of the production plan of Blood vs Duty and that she had no say in the hiring of her uncle, Sen. Robin Padilla.
With this, the entertainment writer said that maybe Bela Padilla is just following what she is told to do in the series with Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson.
At the press conference of the advocacy film Behind The Smile starring Ejay Falcon, he was asked about such rumors.
When asked if Bela’s character in the series will be terminated, Ejay anwered, “Wala po akong alam sa ganyan.” He also said he just came back from a taping and that Bela was still with him.
They said that their taping would be over in a few weeks, and the Bela’s character was still there. “Siyempre, pagdating po kasi sa set, focus na lang po sa character ko. At saka ‘yung tensyon kasi sa trabaho, ‘di ba? Alam n’yo naman pagod, puyat ang mga tao, so ‘yun,” he shared.
