During the Senate hearing, Niño Muhlach got emotional as he narrates his son’s experience.
Actor-businessman Niño Muhlach got emotionally distressed as he narrated the traumatic experience of his son Sandro Muhlach.
Veteran actor Niño Muhlach appeared at the Senate hearing for the case of his son Sandro Muhlach. The hearing was held on August 7 and the accused two GMA contractors skipped this session. A subpoena against them was also issued after they decided to skip this hearing.
On the Wednesday hearing, he recalled and narrated his son’s traumatic experience. He was allegedly abused by two independent contractors from the GMA Network namely Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
“Nanginginig at hindi halos mahawakan ang telepono niya ‘nung kwinekwento niya ang ginawa sa kanya,” he said as he attended the hearing in behalf of his son. He is still traumatized and was advised to stop using social media for now and limit his public exposure.
It pained him to see how his son trembled from the trauma of what happened to him with the alleged perpetrators. Accordingly, it was his brother Alonzo who knew this first.
His son was initially worried about filing a complaint as he doesn’t know how this may impact his career in show business and how the network would react. To recall, it was just this July when stories about the hotel incident between the actor and the contractors circulated online.
During the hearing, Sandro’s father expressed that he may not be the best husband but he is sure that he did his best as a father. He was in disbelief hearing the story from his as he personally knows Jojo, the head writer for the show, Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis and recalling how much he respects this writer broke him.
“Sir Jojo pa nga tawag ko sa kanya eh. Di ko talaga matanggap na nagawa niya sa anak ko ito… Sobrang sama po talaga ng loob ko kay Jojo Nones,” he added.
Sandro did not attend the hearing as he was advised by the Behavioral Science department of the National Bureau of Investigation to skip it for the sake of his mental health.
