Vice Ganda On Negative Comments About Their “Pisikalan” In It’s Showtime

This is what Vice Ganda said about the critics.

VICE GANDA – The Kapamilya superstar comedian has this clap back to those who criticize their hosting style.

Airing now on the main channel of the GMA network is Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. The event where Showtime in GMA officially happened, marked another milestone in the television. This new start was made possible after GMA’s nearly three-decades-long partnership with Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE) ended.

Since it’s airing in GMA, the Kapamilya noontime show has been defeating the rival show in TV5 in terms of rating. During debut episode on April 6, Showtime defeated Eat Bulaga after it recorded a total of 9.7 percent in terms of ratings.

The Showtime ratings in the past few days are:

  • April 8
    • 8.3% (5.9% of this is in GMA-7 alone)
    • Eat Bulaga got 4.3%
  • April 9
    • 8.6%
    • Eat Bulaga got 4.3%
  • April 10
    • 8.3%
    • Eat Bulaga got 5.9%

As much as we all know, Showtime is loved not just for the segment but also for the brand and style of hosting of the hosts. They have this “physical hosting” which many are entertained and their exchange of banters shows their chemistry as hosts of one show.

However, you cannot please everyone. Not all viewers are fond of their “bardagulan” and “pisikalan” jokes on national TV. In a post he shared showing the love language between him and his close friend Anne Curtis, one netizen criticized their bonding moment.

It was all supposed to be fun when this netizens brought back a past incident.

In a reply, Vice wrote, “Wag nyo po kaming alalahanin. Kami mo po ang may relasyon kaya kami po ng magdedecide kung paano kami maghaharutan. Iba iba po ang dynamics ng mga magkakaibigan.”
