Well-loved reality show Pinoy Big Brother is coming back for a new season!
PINOY BIG BROTHER – The successful Kapamilya reality show announced its come back this June for the 11th season.
Hello Philippines! Hello world!
A reality show that successfully ran for many years with a total of 10 seasons is coming back this year for a brand new season. As much as we all know, this is the reality show that also produced some of the biggest stars that we have in the industry such as Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Melai Cantiveros, Maymay Entrata, Barbie Imperial, and many others.
Apart from Chiu and Entrata, the other big winners of this reality show are Nene Tamayo, Ejay Falcon, Ruben Gonzaga, Keanna Reeves, James Reid, Beatriz Saw, Slater Young, Miho Nishida, Anji Salvacion and many more.
“Magbubukas na ang Pinoy Big Brother sa June 2024! Magsisimula na din ang paghahanap sa mga bagong housemates simula April 27 at 28,” the post read as it announced for the opening of a new season.
To recall, the last season ended in 2022 with Salvacion as the big winner. No other further details have been announced yet so stay tuned as you can be the next housemate!
“Gusto namin ipaalam, magbubukas na ulit ang bahay ni Kuya. The PBB house will open this June and sa loob ng isang-daang araw, meron tayong bagong batch of housemates. We will be scouting and having auditions,” Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi also made the announcement in his IG account.
PBB was launched in August 2005 and the participants are called “housemates”. They will be staying inside the house for a certain period of time and they will be doing challenges. Their performances and character shown inside the house will determine if they should stay or not. Weekly nomination and eviction is done to eliminate the housemates one by one until one victor stays to be called the big winner.
One of the main hosts of the reality show was Toni Gonzaga. However, in 2022, she stepped down as the main host and passed the mic to the other hosts. Will Toni return to PBB? This question was asked to her early this year and based on the previous article, her answer was:
“Ay… feeling ko, ano, may mga bagong magagaling na hosts and it’s their time to shine. Parang feeling ko the 16 years that I gave… I’ve given sa PBB parang ano na ‘yon, that was special and memorable in my heart, pero sobrang gagaling na ngayon ng mga host ng PBB and I’m sure they will continue the legacy ni Kuya.”
