Male Teacher Expresses Dismay to Current State of Students
A male teacher has expressed his reaction to the current generation of students, saying, “Era ng kabataang lunod sa KARAPATAN”.
Berlin Celoza, a Facebook user, shared his opinion with the current generation of youth, enjoying their entitlement to rights while sometimes overlooking the essence of responsibility. The post earns reactions from the netizens.
Teacher Berlin Celoza, who teaches Grade 7 and Grade 10 students at Don Jose Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School in San Carlos Binangonan, Rizal, reflected on her own experiences as a student, emphasizing differences he perceives in today’s youth.
The educator described today’s students as individuals drowning in rights yet struggling to handle their responsibilities. He went on to enumerate the rights enjoyed by today’s youth.
Celoza said that this is an era where students can do whatever they want, and where they cannot be reprimanded. He also reiterated that this is an era wherein youth can talk back to teachers and their parents are their allies against discipline.
Berlin reiterated that he has high respect for his teachers and not to normalize the phrase “PANAHON nyo yun!”. He explained that teachers are also human with limitations and weaknesses.

Era ito na pwede nilang gawin ang gusto nilang gawin, Era ito na bawal silang pagalitan, era ito na ipapasa mo sila kahit hindi marunong magbasa, Era ito na kahit paulit ulit ang maling ginagawa sa paaralan ay kailangan mo silang ipasa, Era ito na kaya nilang sagut sagutin ang mga guro, Era ito na kakampi nila ang kanilang mga magulang laban sa disiplina.

Hindi kayang baguhin ng panahon ang kahulugan ng salitang RESPETO o PAGGALANG, ang pagtanaw ng utang na loob at pasasalamat.
Ang mga GURO ay TAO din na may LIMITASYON at KAHINAAN.
