Paulo and Janine were linked to each other when they worked together in the Kapamilya series Marry Me, Marry You. Fans started to ship them but they haven’t confirmed the real score between them.
In interviews, they would just hint at the closeness between them and how they value each other. Although they haven’t directly confirmed nor denied their relationship, rumors surfaced that they already broke up.
Back in August 2023, rumors surfaced that Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez broke up. In an interview, the actor appeared to be refusing to answer questions about Janine.
In December last year, it was rumored again that Paulo and Janine got back together. At this point, the actor’s onscreen partnership with actress Kim Chiu started gaining popularity.
Paulo was also linked to Kim as netizens speculated about their rumored romance because of their chemistry in the series Linlang and this would continue in their second series together What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. Fans are now calling them the KimPau tandem.
In a recent episode of Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update vlog, he shared what his source revealed about the Paulo-Janine relationship status.
“Split na raw ang dalawa ulit,” Ogie shared. “Dati nag-on, tapos naghiwalay, nag-on uli,” he added. Then, Ogie’s co-host Dyosa Pockoh commented, “Ah, yun yung time na naiyak si Kim Chiu?”
The talent manager-vlogger did not respond to this as he said that he would be the one who would be bashed because of this. Ogie stressed that was what his source revealed and there was no confirmation yet from Paulo and Janine.
