After many years, Kris Aquino appears live on television.
In the new FTWBA episode, Kris Aquino appears with some update about her health in an interview with King Of Talk Boy Abunda.
In a previous article, during the February 13 episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the King Of Talk announced that Kris Aquino is going to share ‘very important statement’ on her condition. The announcement of Kris will be made on February 14, on the day of her 53rd birthday.
On the February 14 episode of the Kapuso program, the Queen Of All Media appeared live. This is the first time after many years that passed since she stepped out of the limelight.
In the interview, Kris opened up about her health.
The past three weeks, her hemoglobin accordingly went really down to the level that, if in a different situation, she would already need a blood transfusion. Her lungs also got affected because of her Churg-Strauss and she needed to undergo more medicines and treatments for her five autoimmune diseases. She confirmed that she now has her fifth autoimmune disease which could be lupus or rheumathoid arthritis.
But above all, it is her Churg Strauss that is the “pinaka-kontrabida” as of now. One of the dangers of her health condition now because of her autoimmune diseases is that she can suffer from a stroke anytime.
In the same interview, Aquino shared that the next six months are going to be crucial for her. It is so serious that she already had her sons, Josh and Bimby, bequeathed already to her sisters and Abunda, who is a very close friend of hers.
“Ano ang mangyayari sa susunod na anim na buwan?”
Responding to this question, Kris said, “May susubukan kaming biological na gamot. This is my chance to save my heart because kung hindi ito tumalab Boy, I stand a very strong chance of having cardiac arrest. As in pwedeng in my sleep or kung ano man ang ginagawa ko. Pwedeng tumigil na lang ang pagtibok ng puso.”
There’s a huge risk that comes along with this new medicine that she will try starting Monday. She will start with baby doses and the following steps will be based on how her body will react from this.
“Whatever days are left, kung ano man ang natitira, it’s a blessing. But I really want to stay alive,” she expressed.
Meanwhile, in the January post, Kris shared that she on the initial stage of lupus. She has been seeking treatment for her autoimmune disease in the United States since June 2022. She may have seen improvements in her health throughout her treatment, however, her autoimmune diseases kept on increasing in numbers.
She now has five autoimmune disorders and the following, as she mentioned, is going to be critical. She is currently going through a difficult time in her life.
