There’s always something amazing and wonderful about a sibling relationship. Friendships with other people may come and go but with your sibling, you are stuck forever. Being with a sibling, you share the same environment and you have common memories while growing up.
The love’s unexplainable but no matter what happens, you and your siblings got each other.
This is something many people also admire with celebrities Gelli De Belen and Janice De Belen who are sisters in real life. They can admire as to what length one went through just to take her sister away from pain.
In an interview with Karen Davila, Gelli shared what she did just to prove to her sister Janice the “red flags” her ex-husband John Estrada.
According to her, she did everything including hiring an investigator to prove what her instinct has been telling her. She added that her ex-husband was the only guy who became a part of her sister’s life that she felt there’s something.
“Nung naging si John, meron na akong huwisyo.”
Gelli would accordingly hear and find out things about him because “it’s a small industry”. As her sister, she just did what was right and that was to tell her what she heard and discovered and that she needed to do something.
However, at that time, Janice would get offended by this. She felt like Gelli was being a “kontrabida” and she would get mad. There was a “silent war” between them.
As for Gelli, the information she got was from the concerned people and friends they have. They call her and tell her what they saw and right after, she would relay the message to her sister.
It was the “hardest part” and when she was about to end what she was doing, Janice asked for proof. She quipped in the interview, “Proof ba kamo? Naghanap talaga ako ng proof.”
She became aggressive just to provide proof and that was when she hired a private investigator. She was able to provide the proof her sister was looking for back then.
“Everybody knew, but nobody is talking. Nobody was telling us.”
