Matteo Guidicelli Reveals How People In GMA Treat Him

Matteo Guidicelli talked about his first Kapuso series

Actor-host Matteo Guidicelli revealed how the people in GMA-7 treat him, especially now that he has a new Kapuso series.

For many years, Matteo has been doing projects under the Kapamilya network. However, last May, the husband of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo officially signed a contract with the Kapuso network.

This decision came months after rumors about his network transfer. Eventually, Matteo was introduced as the newest host of Unang Hirit, the Kapuso morning show. The actor easily blends in with the other hosts and the viewers love his charisma.

Aside from his hosting stint, Matteo Guidicelli was given a chance to be part of the new Kapuso primetime series Black Rider. This series features Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, and Kylie Padilla.

Matteo expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to be part of this project. He also highlighted the good treatment that he gets from the people he works with.

“You know, I’m very thankful unang-una sa GMA for opening their doors here. I signed up with GMA News and Public Affairs, ito yung first teleserye ko dito, I’m very happy because ang bait ng mga tao dito, ang bait nilang lahat,” Matteo shared.

He shared that aside from his co-stars, he also gets good treatment from the people behind the camera, such as associate producers and production assistants. Matteo added that everyone in the production is exuding a certain positive vibe.

He said that even though there are challenges, they are able to work harmoniously. “Obviously, there’s a lot of pros and cons, challenges here and there, but at the end of the day, what’s important is the positive set and a set that moves forward, and a director that can guide us and lead us,” he said.

Matteo Guidicelli shared how happy he is that everyone makes everything lighter and nicer on the set. He also commended their director Direk Rommel Penesa.
