Beauty queen Michelle Dee expressed readiness to accept the result of the Miss Universe 2023 competition.

Michelle has been in intense preparation for her second international pageant as she already represented the Philippines in Miss World 2019 competition. In a recent interview, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the Pinay beauty queen shared that she is ready for whatever will happen after her upcoming pageant.

She said that the competition will happen on November 18 but she is more excited about what will happen on November 19 as this is the start of a new beginning for her.

It’s day one of the start of amazing journey,” Michelle Dee said. Whatever will happen, the Pinay beauty queen is ready to accept the result and she is always thankful to everyone who helped her.

Michelle is also ready to accept whatever comments people will throw at her. It is because she believes in herself and the people who joined her pageant journey.

“I never discredit the opinion of other people because we all have the right to one. But my mindset is always to trust my core, to trust the people that who really wanted the best for me and share the same passion,” she said.

Michelle also said that she would be flying alone to El Salvador where the competition will be held but she stressed that she would definitely carry the pride of the nation, the beautiful country of the Philippines. “The hospitality and I really hope to be the best representative of that,” she added.

The beauty queen also mentioned that her mom veteran actress Melanie Marquez supports her all the way. Michelle Dee said that her mother will always be her number one fan but also her biggest critic. She shared that her mother has been training her to have the right mindset since she was young.

The Kapuso star also shared that just like her mom, she wants to use her platform to promote the causes or advocacy that she is fighting for.

Previously, Michelle expressed that she wanted the 5th Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, after the victory of Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
