Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee said that she has dedicated 200 percent of herself to bring home the fifth Miss Universe crown.
Michelle has started her training for the international pageant which will be held in El Salvador on November 19. Back in August, the beauty queen-actress shared amid her preparation for Miss Universe that she can still perfect what she is doing.
She is determined to be the fifth Pinay Miss Universe, following Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Michelle Dee expressed her determination to bring home the Miss Universe crown for the Philippines. “I’m giving it everything that I have, 200 percent of myself I am dedicating to my crown. Nililigawan ko talaga yung pang-limang korona,” she said.
She said that she is training every day if her schedule allows it. Michelle also shared that she has been working on the different aspects of her campaign to make sure that when she flies to El Salvador, she is already 100 percent ready for the pageant.
The Kapuso star said that she wants to bring pride to the country by waving her advocacy to the international pageant. “That’s what the Philippines stands for. We’ve always been amazing at showcasing what the Philippines has to offer and that’s what I want to do there,” she explained.
Michelle Dee also shared that she has been training for her pasarela, make-up, and hair styling. During the international pageant, she would not get help from a glam team and so, she had to prepare for this aspect as well.
When it comes to her wardrobe essentials, everything is being prepared and her choreography to showcase these is being conceptualized. “Marami tayong pasabog,” she said. Her wardrobe for the Miss Universe finals is created by designer Mark Bumgarner who also created her evening gown during the national pageant.
