Luis Manzano asked netizens about their preferred timeslot for his new show

Kapamilya host Luis Manzano had this question on X (Twitter) users about his current noontime show It’s Your Lucky Day and this became a trending topic on the micro-blogging social media platform.

The said show led by Luis is a temporary replacement for It’s Showtime after it was suspended for 12 days. To recall, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) suspended the Kapamilya noontime show because of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez’s icing incident.

Since ABS-CBN no longer filed an appeal after the first appeal was denied, the network opted to introduce a temporary replacement.

Since this was intended initially as a replacement, Luis quipped during an episode. he said that this is their show’s “huling dalawang linggo.”

Previously, Luis Manzano hinted at the possibility that his show will continue. In one of the episodes, he appeared to be hinting that their show will remain even after It’s Showtime’s suspension.

In a recent Twitter post, the Kapamilya host directly asked netizens what timeslot they would like to watch It’s Your Lucky Day.

“Kung sakali lang na maging Lucky nga (di masama mangarap) , ano mas gusto niyo sa it’s your Lucky day, before Showtime or before TV Patrol, at bakit?” he wrote in his post on X.

After this, the phrase “Before TV Patrol” became a trending topic again. Apparently, netizens wanted this new timeslot for Luis’s show. On October 19, this is still trending. The son of Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano shared a post about this. “Good morning! Trending pa rin?” Luis wrote.

Meanwhile, It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis showed support for this new show of Luis Manzano. They have been good friends for many years now. She said that It’s Showtime will take a break for a while.
