EMAN PACQUIAO – After his impressive fight at Thrilla In Manila 2, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao became an online sensation when fans started calling him “Piolo Pacquiao.”

In an exclusive interview with Cabinet Files, Eman conveyed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who believes in his abilities as he strives to build his name in the world of boxing.

“Marami pong salamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta at naniniwala sa akin. Sana magpatuloy po kayo sa pagsuporta sa akin,” Eman said. “Mas pagbubutihin at sisipagan ko pa po ang pag-eensayo para mag-improve pa po ako. GOD Bless po sa ating lahat.”

Eman gained the nickname “Piolo Pacquiao” after participating in the Thrilla In Manila 2 boxing event held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on October 29, 2025. Fans quickly noticed his resemblance to actor Piolo Pascual, a comparison that caught the young boxer by surprise but also made him smile.

“Natuwa po ako na kamukha ko pala si Piolo Pascual, at ngayon ay tinatawag ako na Piolo Pacquiao,” Eman said with a grin when asked about the nickname.

Standing 5’10” tall and possessing model-like looks, Eman has often been told he has the potential to enter showbiz. This sparked questions among followers and media alike about whether he plans to take the same path as his father, boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, who successfully ventured into entertainment.

Responding to the idea, Eman shared, “Open naman po ako kung may opportunity, pero siyempre, kailangan ko rin kasi paghandaan muna at mag-focus sa boxing.”

In addition to boxing and possible showbiz opportunities, Eman was asked about taking on product endorsements. He answered, “Basta po aligned sa values ko and kung naniniwala ako dun sa produkto. Huwag lang po sugal or kahit anong negative na bagay.”

Even with a promising athletic career ahead, Eman continues to focus on his studies. “Grade 11 po ako ngayon. Technical Vocational Livelihood [TVL] po ang course ko sa Alternative Learning System,” he revealed.
