Cebu Currently Experiencing Wrath of Typhoon Tino, Several Areas Already Flooded
TYPHOON TINO – Cebu is now braving the strength of the severe tropical storm and signal no. 4 is up in some areas in Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA previously warned that severe tropical storm Tino can rapidly intensify. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals were raised in several areas.

Ahead of the wrath of the severe tropical storm Tino in the province, panic buying hit Cebu. Countless residents made sure they have enough food for the day when heavy rains would struck their place making it hard for transport.
At 5:00 a.m., Typhoon Tino brought “life-threatening conditions” over Camotes Island. It was approaching the province as it movd westward. Recently, there were already reports about flooded areas and strong winds in the province.

Based on a post of CDN Digital on social media, the strength of Typhoon Tino at the South Road Properties in Cebu City was captured in a video at dawn. The latest updates from PAGASA stated that the severe tropical storm packed winds of 150 kilometers per hour near the center with the gustiness of up to 205 km/hour.
A post by netizen Mel Ayenza also crossed the social media showing a flooded portion of Cebu. Here’s a photo of the deep flooding that has almost covered the first floor of the two-storey residential properties:
