Speculation surfaced about the show of Luis Manzano
Kapamilya host Luis Manzano made this intriguing statement during a recent episode of his noontime show It’s Your Lucky Day.
This show temporarily replaced the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime as it bid goodbye because it was suspended by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) due to the controversial icing incident of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
Because ABS-CBN did not file an appeal after the board debunked its first appeal, the suspension was pushed through.
With this, a temporary show was introduced featuring Luis Manzano as the main host. In a recent episode of the show, based on the article in PEP, the TV host let out a statement that is quite intriguing.
During the episode on October 14, Luis said, “First time sa lahat ng shows ng ABS-CBN, kahit sa buong industriya, hindi pa tayo natatapos ng unang episode, maa-announce na natin ang huling dalawang linggo.” This garnered laughter from the audience.
However, on October 16, he sounded different. “Ito ang unang Lunes na kasama ninyo kami sa pananghalian kaya gagawin nating masuwerte ang pagsisimula ng week natin na ito,” he said. The It’s Showtime’s suspension is 12 days.
Then, he called his co-host Melai Cantiveros who said that if Anne Curtis has “It’s Showtime!” cheer, she has “It’s Short time.” Luis added that they only have 11 days to go before their show will end its intention as a temporary replacement.
However, his next statement appeared to be a tease of what will happen to their show. “Nagloloko tayo ng eleven days na lang tayo pero malay natin kung susuwertihin din tayo. Malay natin, eleven days tayo sa timeslot na ‘to. Malay natin kung susuwertihin, e, medyo mapaaga nang konti sa Showtime,” Luis Manzano said.
Does this mean that their show might be permanent already?
