Liza Soberano Slams “Pinagtawanan Ng Bashers” Statement

Here’s how Liza Soberano reacted to this controversial headline about her.

Careless Music artist Liza Soberano slammed this news headline about her putting her Hollywood dream to rest.

After leaving ABS-CBN and Star Magic, actress Liza Soberano started to make her way to penetrate Hollywood. She stayed in the US for several months before and was spotted in different several occasions.

However, in the recent months, she has been Manila-based. In a previous article, Liza wanted to join the Korean entertainment industry and admitted that her Hollywood career had been stalled due to the actor’s strike there and she is also a member of the SAG-Aftra.

To recall, the actor’s strike began on July 14 as the group is calling for increased pay. As part of this group, she decided to put her Hollywood dream to rest and went on to her next dream which was to penetrate Korean entertainment.

She is studying the South Korean language and to “explore opportunities” there.

“I personally see Korea as next to Hollywood. I’m starting to create my own production company and my coproducer is based in Korea. That’s why I come back here often. It’s just a little bit limiting that I can’t speak Korean yet,” she said.

However, her bashers took this decision of hers against her.

A famous online newspaper cited how bashers mocked and laughed at his decision. The caption said: “Liza Soberano pinagtawanan ng bashers.”

This did not suit well to her. She aired, “What type of journalism is this?”

And added, “You guys are straight up shitting on a young woman’s dreams in the pursuit of clicks and comments. Don’t you guys have more important news to talk about?”

Her post earned comments and her followers also condemned the offensive statement. They lambasted how irresponsible the caption was just to gain clicks.

Meanwhile, in February, Liza aired some of her thoughts about PH showbiz, specifically the love team culture which earned backlash. Previously, Liza revealed that she dreamt of becoming an “artista”.
