Weather forecaster Obet Badrina said Falcon enhances the southwest monsoon, which will bring rains over most parts of Luzon.
“Makikita ninyo itong area ng kanlurang bahagi ng Luzon partikular dito sa may Bataan o Zambales, mananatili po ang pag-ulan, posibleng umabot hanggang ngayon, bukas, o Biyernes,” Badrina said.
The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of MIMAROPA.
Earlier, several local government units declared class suspensions for Wednesday (August 2, 2023)
Habagat will bring monsoon rains over Zambales and Bataan. It will bring occasional rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Occidental Mindoro.
Meanwhile, the remaining parts of the country will have generally fair weather conditions to partly cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
The weather agency has warned residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flooding or landslides due to scattered to widespread heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
