These are the countries newlyweds Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde are going to after their wedding.

Newly-married couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde are going to Switzerland, Italy, and Greece after tying the knot.

Last July 28, celebrities Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde married in an affair that was full of love. It was held at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City and was followed by a reception at a venue that has not been disclosed yet.

Maine and Arjo’s wedding request was for their “ninongs” and “ninangs” to donate their supposed gifts for them to the victims of calamities.

Their wedding was a star-studded event. The godfathers were former senator Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, businessman Miguel Atayde, ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak, and film producer Roldeo Endrinal.

The godmothers were Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, veteran actresses Maricel Soriano and Nova Villa (Novelita Gallegos), Jeny Ferre, Rhea Anicoche-Tan, Madeleine Tuviera, Celeste Tuviera, Jinky Jane Lacarta, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes (Maria Socorro Valenzuela) and Rosabella Fernandez.

And now, after their wedding, they headed directly to Bali to attend the wedding of Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez.

Following these events, Arjo and Maine will be heading to three countries Switzerland, Italy, and Greece. This is a part of the actor’s official trip being the vice chairperson of the House special committee on the creative industry and performing arts, as stated in an August 1 article published in Inquirer.net.

They will go to Switzerland to attend the 76th Locarno Film Festival where Arjo’s film “Topakk” was recognized.

He will also be in Europe from August 5 to August 27 to visit the Filipino communities in Italy and Greece. This is a part of his job as the first district Congressman of Quezon City.
