Motorcycle Rider Elicits Criticisms Online for Engaging in Heated Argument w/ Traffic Enforcers After Committing Traffic Violation
A motorcycle rider engaged in a heated exchange of arguments with traffic enforcers during his apprehension along the EDSA busway.
In the Philippines, heavy traffic congestion has become one of the major problems for motorists and commuters. Traffic authorities have been implementing rules and regulations to address the issue. However, implementing traffic policies can sometimes lead to heated encounters.
Recently, the Facebook page “InterAgency Council for Traffic – IACT” shared video footage of a motorcycle rider having a heated argument with traffic enforcers. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, the Integrated Agency for Traffic (I-ACT) apprehended a motorcycle rider on the EDSA busway during rush hour in Pasay City. The rider nearly lost control and relentlessly shouted at the brave traffic enforcers.
However, the I-ACT officers remained calm and steadfast in implementing the traffic rules and regulations in the area, despite the rider’s intense reaction.
Eventually, the rider calmed down and presented his Official Receipt (OR), Certificate of Registration (CR), and driver’s license. He cooperated with the authorities but expressed his intention to contest the apprehension.
The rider acknowledged the importance of traffic policies in ensuring the safety of both motorists and pedestrians along the road.

“Pumukaw pansin ang reaksyon ng isang rider nang siya’y walang patid na nagsisisigaw sa EDSA busway nang masakote ng I-ACT sa kasagsagan ng rush hour sa Pasay City kanina.
Halos malagutan ng ugat sa leeg ang naturang rider sa gitna ng kanyang pambubulahaw sa ating mga operatiba na di naman natinag sa pagpapatupad ng kanilang nakaatang na tungkulin.
Kinalaunan nama’y sumunod din ang pasaway na rider at maayos na ibinigay ang kanyang mga kaukulang dokumento gaya ng OR/CR at lisensya sa I-ACT.
Bagama’t nagpahayag na ikokontest ang naturang aprehensyon, aminado naman ang rider na makabubuti para sa kaligtasan ng lahat ang araw-araw ang pagpapatupad ng batas trapiko sa busway. Sa dulo nama’y pinirmahan na rin nito ang kanyang ticket mula sa I-ACT.”
