However, in a recent social media post, CCM Film Productions, the production company owned by the Kapamilya actor released a statement clarifying to the public that he is not endorsing any gambling, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
The statement stressed that any social media post or materials being circulated online are unauthorized, with the intention to deceive.
His camp also reminded the public to be vigilant and to avoid entertaining deceptive promotions. The post included the official social media pages affiliated with the Kapamilya actor.
Several celebrities have clarified in the past that they are not also endorsing any gambling, as their names and images were also illegally used by gambling sites for promotions. One of them was actor and Senator Robin Padilla. He said that claims saying that he’s promoting gambling were “malaking kalokohan.”
Meanwhile, last month Coco Martin wrote a heartfelt message for his longtime partner, Kapamilya actress Julia Montes. In his message, he mentioned that he was thankful to Julia for taking care of their family. With this, netizens speculated that it was a supposed confirmation that they have children.
