“Itong LPA ay mababa pa rin ang tiyansa na maging isang bagyo within the next 24 hours, ngunit inaasahan natin na posible itong lumapit sa bahagi ng Aurora, Quezon, at Camarines Norte area,” weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo said.

The southwest monsoon and LPA will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and BARMM.

Habagat will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN.

“Umiiral pa rin ang southwest monsoon sa Southern Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao. Dahil sa pinagsamang epekto ng LPA at southwest monsoon ay inaasahan natin na sa buong maghapon ay magiging maulap ang kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan, pagkidlat, at pagkulog,” he added.

The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Southern Luzon, rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
