Stell Ajero of SB19 has this reaction to the copyright issue
SB19 member Stell Ajero has spoken about the copyright issue in the music industry following the remark made by It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis.
To recall, in an episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, a contestant requested to dance to the song Gento. Prior to this, the show has been playing the song but at that particular moment, Vice said that they were no longer allowed to play the said dance craze.
Anne asked why and Vice answered that the P-Pop group was already “naningil.” The actress-host then commented that it was actually a good promotion for the music industry. This did not sit well with the fans of the P-Pop Kings.
In a recent interview, based on the article by entertainment writer Gorgy Rula in Pilipino Star Ngayon. Stell Ajero, who is tagged as the Heavenly Voice of SB19, was asked about the copyright issue.
He said that it is a good thing that this matter is being talked about. “Actually, maganda siya na napag-usapÂan kasi parang matagal na rin siyang isyu e, sa Pilipinas, ‘yung copyright, about music,” he said.
On the other hand, he stressed that discussing this issue should not put other artists in a bad light. They are open to discoursing the matter but it should be done in a nice way. “Kasi, kumbaga nandito naman tayo for everyone’s improvement. Nandito tayo para mabigyan ng knowledge ang bawat isa,” he stressed.
Stell also mentioned that it became a negative thing because of other people’s wrong perceptions. He said that there were just bashers who aggravated the issue.
The SB19 member also said that he hopes this kind of negative issue will be avoided next time and that a healthy discussion should take place.
