Lawrence took to social media to share his recent encounter while working for a popular delivery application. He posted about a peculiar request from a customer, which left him pondering the question, “Kaninong Girlfriend ‘To?” Translated to English, it means, “Whose girlfriend is this?”
According to Lawrence, he received a notification around 2:23 AM, and at first, he found it somewhat amusing. The customer apparently requested a delivery to spy on her boyfriend through the delivery platform.
It’s not uncommon for people to use creative means to keep tabs on their loved ones, but this particular scenario raised eyebrows.
“Nag-notif kasi sa akin ‘yung book around 2:23 AM, at first it was somehow funny kasi pina-spy si boyfriend thru Lalamove,” Bawda said.
Fortunately for Lawrence, another rider eventually accepted the delivery request, sparing him from being entangled in this curious case of relationship surveillance. He expressed his hope that the customer had discovered the truth about her boyfriend.
“Eventually may kumuha naman na ibang rider. Sana nalaman na ni ate gurl ‘yung totoo,” he added.
