Vice Ganda appeared to dislike what a contestant said
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda received support from netizens after saying this to a contestant of It’s Showtime‘s ‘Laro Laro Pick‘ segment.
Vice rose to fame with his brand of comedy. From being a resident “hurada” in the Kapamilya noontime show, he became one of the main hosts and continues to bring laughter and entertainment.
Vice is also known for his generosity, not just to his family, peers, and colleagues, but at times, to the contestants on the noontime show.
However, the comedian-host is also known for his straightforwardness. He does not hesitate if there is something to be called out, just like what happened in a recent edition of Laro Laro Pick.
In a clip shared by @Itchy_Tangerine1897 on Reddit, under ChikaPH, a mother was telling Vice Ganda that they pay P16,000 for an apparent “practical” activity as a flight attendant.
With this, the comedian-host pointed out that she already won P30,000, which meant that it was more than what her child needed. The mother laughed, and then Vice said, “Gusto mo kami pa bubuhay sa pamilya mo?” He also asked the mother if she was not happy about what she won.
In the comment section of this post, Vice received support from netizens. For many netizens, it was just right for the comedian-host to reprimand the mother that way because there had been many contestants who felt ungrateful for what they won because they wanted more.
Other netizens pointed out that this is the result of “4Ps” or the “ayuda” program of the government, which, for them, just encourages more people to depend on what they can receive from the government through financial support and not really work hard. Here are some comments.
