Michael V made clarifications about rumors that he was considered to host the “new” Eat Bulaga
Kapuso comedian Michael V belied the reports claiming that he received an offer from TAPE Inc. to host the new Eat Bulaga.
Bitoy was one of the regular Dabarkads for many years. However, eventually, he decided to leave the longest-running noontime show. Some intrigues surfaced about his decision to leave.
He clarified that it was because of his busy schedule. There was a point when he was just working once a week and he did not feel good about that because it was unfair for the other hosts.
Bitoy shared that he decided to leave during the height of AlDub fever and for him, that was the right timing.
Years after, following the change in TAPE’s management, Michael V was one of the rumored hosts to be in the new version of the Kapuso noontime show. The Kapuso comedian shared screenshots of articles from news outlets claiming that TAPE’s new management offered him to return to the new Kapuso noontime show.
He stressed that there is no truth to this. “FAKE NEWS ALERT! While I appreciate the positive comments, this one, ultimately is FAKE NEWS,” he said. Bitoy emphasized that he was not offered to host the show on GMA and if ever there was an offer, he will surely decline it.
“It’s unfortunate na hindi naging maayos ang paghihiwalay ng dalawang kampo and I’m hoping na ma-plantsa na ang gusot. Alam ko kasi na in the future, I will appear on both shows for whatever reason and I would like to feel welcome when that time comes,” the Bubble Gang actor.
Michael V also said that those who are asking the reason for his decision to leave Eat Bulaga can watch his vlog in which he talked about this.
“I hope this clears things out for anyone who’s asking. Maging maingat at matalino po sa pagbabasa at pagri-research para hindi tayo mabiktima ng FAKE NEWS,” he reiterated.
Bitoy is now focused on doing Bubble Gang, the longest-running gag show, and his long-running sitcom Pepito Manaloto.
