MARICEL SORIANO – Diamond Star Maricel Soriano shares the reason why she turned to vlogging and her experience.
Recently joining the pool of celebrities becoming content creators on YouTube is Maricel Soriano. Her channel now has more than 200k subscribers and the content she did were mostly viral. The recent one was her interview with her ex-husband Edu Manzano.
And recently, in an interview with Ogie Diaz, she spoke about what and who pushed her to give in to vlogging.
Accordingly, she gave in to her fans’ requests.
They don’t see her that often anymore and despite not being active in show business, they remained supporting her. They wanted to see her in many interviews and situations which made her realize something.
“Para matahimik din sila at nakikita nila ako at the same time habang ginagawa ko ito marami akong natutunan sa mga nai-interview kong tao,” she explained. The Diamond Star no plunged into hosting through her vlogs.
And speaking about her newfound career, she realized that being a content creator seems much harder than being an actress. In her vlogs, she gets to do a lot of things she never did as an actress.

In a previous article, Inang Maricel expressed her desire to interview two young actors such as Joshua Garcia and Enchong Dee. She has not worked with them yet but she already knows how good they are as actors and as people.
She also desires to interview Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She also talked about her viral interview with her ex-husband and shared that despite the separation, there was never n “away” that happened because they started as friends and their fall back after their separation was that friendship.
