“Sahuran na naman kahapon dito sa Japan. Dahil nakalimutan ko kahapon magpadala kay mama, nag-send agad ako kaninang break ko sa hapon.
Sobrang pagod ko pagkatapos ng trabaho. Pagkauwi, tsaka ko palang nabasa yung message ni mama. Grabe yung realization na tumama sakin. Hindi ko na naman napigilang maiyak. Oo nga ano. 1 year ago, hindi ko alam kung papaanong paraan ako makakatulong.
Ngayon, heto na ako. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na makapag-provide sa pamilya. Hindi marangya ang buhay namin, kaya kinailangan kong mag-abroad para sa pamilya ko at sa magiging sarili kong pamilya. OFW rin ang papa ko, kaya ngayon naiintindihan ko na rin yung pakiramdam ng malayo. Kung may choice lang ako, hindi naman ako magaabroad kasi masakit malayo at mangulila sa pamilya.
Heto na pala yun. Ako na ngayon yung bumabawi. Yung pangarap ko dati na ako naman ang makapagbigay, na-fulfill ko na. Hindi ko ma-explain, pero sobrang saya ko. Naalala kong ito pala yung pangako ko dati kay mama. Akala ko dati, kailangan makapagpatayo muna ako ng bahay at makabili ng sasakyan para masabi kong successful ako dito sa ibang bansa. Pero ngayong araw pina-realize sa akin na hindi ako dapat magmadali. Sapat na yung appreciation ng pamilya ko kapalit ng sakripisyong ginagawa ko.
Wala akong ibang intensyon sa post na ito kundi palakasin ang loob ng mga kapwa ko OFW at mga magiging OFW pa lamang. Lalo na kung isa ka ring anak. Isipin mong sa kabila ng pagod at pagtitiis, may pamilyang masaya.
Magpalakas ka pa at hintayin mo rin yung salitang “salamat” mula sa mga mahal mo. Yun yung magsisilbing reward mo. ”
