Arrested Cop for Assaulting Girlfriend in Kidapawan City Found to be Married
A cop who was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend was found to be married to another woman in Kidapawan City.
A raging man was recently caught on tape beating a woman who was rumored to be his “kabit”. The woman, named only as Alias Shiela, 27, married and lives in Kanapia Subdivision, Kidapawan City, and bathed in her own blood.
The individual was later identified as P/Cpl Louie Jay Garido Lumancas, a police officer stationed at the Magpet MPS office. According to the video, the enraged cop was seen dragging, kicking, and striking the helpless woman. He even aimed his service weapon at the woman.
According to the report, the cop arrived inebriated and clashed with Alias Shiela because the girl was going to break up with him when she discovered he was also married and wanted to make a change in his life. But Lumancas became enraged when he discovered that Alias Shiela had a new relationship, which was the reason she wanted to break up with him.
As a result, the victim was beaten by the police. The assault of the woman by Lumancas was only stopped when barangay authorities and city police arrived and transported the victim to the hospital. The victim’s family is planning to submit a formal complaint against Lumancas.
