Actor-director Coco Martin confirmed the ending of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which will be on March 13, 2026. This is a series adaptation of the movie originally starred by late Fernando Poe Jr.

He also believed that from the very beginning, he knew he would never surpass the record of “Ang Probinsyano.”
Now, as the hit action series nears its finale, actor Jake Cuenca reflects on what he considers one of the most challenging yet fulfilling chapters of his career. He is playing Miguelito Guerrero in the series. It was demanding, but he has always treasured it.
He added that he can personally attest to the hard work and creativity that Coco Martin invested in the series, particularly in its ending, making him confident that audiences should watch out for the finale.
Cuenca said, “Kaya kong sabihin ngayon pa lang na abangan ninyo ang ending ng ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Pinaghirapan po namin ito pinagpawisan, pinagduguan para po sa lahat ng manonood.”
Meanwhile, for Cuenca, the challenge went beyond the physically demanding scenes. He admitted that the whole experience pushed him to his limits, but it also kept him motivated.
They always have long taping hours, and the scenes are mostly physical.
“Looking back on all the taping days and all the scenes that I’ve done, there was not one day na hindi ako excited and there was not one day I wasn’t having fun in the show,” he shared.
Also, what added to the challenge was juggling multiple commitments that really tested his resilience. This also meant juggling two roles at the same time. He had struggles, but he had to push through. He thought it was growth when he proved that he could still show up despite the personal struggles he had.
As the series nears, he said, “Right now, it’s just a feeling of ‘wow.’ I just crossed the finish line and I can finally be Jake Cuenca again.”
