Rhian Ramos Speaks Out on Split w/ Sam Verzosa & Clears Wil Dasovich
RHIAN RAMOS – After months of speculation, Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos has finally confirmed that she and businessman-politician Sam Verzosa are no longer together.
Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos has finally addressed the long-standing rumors surrounding her breakup with businessman-politician Sam Verzosa, confirming that their relationship has already ended.
During the latest episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Friday, March 6, Rhian opened up about the matter for the first time, explaining that she only recently felt ready to talk about it publicly.
“[W]e’ve broken up already. We’re not in a romantic relationship anymore and I think it’s only now that I feel comfortable saying that because he’s confirmed it already also in an interview and I read about it na,” said Rhian.
The actress shared that their relationship had actually ended months ago, but they chose to keep things private at the time.
“We broke up in October of last year. I mean, of course, it’s a relationship between two people, so it is quite private, but I just want everyone to know that we’re in a peaceful place now,” she added.
Rhian’s statement appears to confirm earlier reports that surfaced in November 2025, when several reliable sources claimed that the couple had already separated long before the news became public.
Despite the breakup, Rhian emphasized that the situation between her and Sam remains calm and respectful, suggesting that they have both moved forward on good terms.
Meanwhile, the actress also addressed speculations involving vlogger Wil Dasovich, whose name had been dragged into the issue online.
Rhian firmly denied that Wil had anything to do with her breakup with Sam, stressing that the vlogger is simply a longtime friend.
“He’s one of my guy friends, and he has been for a long time, and it’s so embarrassing that he would suddenly come up and people will say na — I mean, I don’t know what purpose, like what’s that for, to slut shame me or to make me look like a cheater? Anyway, we’re just friends,” she explained.
Because of the rumors circulating online, Rhian also took the opportunity to apologize to Wil and his family for being dragged into the controversy.
“[S]orry to Wil and his family that someone brought you into this,” the actress said.
With her clarification, Rhian hopes to finally put an end to the speculation surrounding her past relationship and clear the name of her friend, who had been unfairly linked to the breakup.
