Willie Revillame Will Allegedly Replace Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ) as Host of Eat Bulaga
TV host Willie Revillame will allegedly replace the iconic trio Tito, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon (TVJ) in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Eat Bulaga’s purported internal issue has already gone viral on social media. According to rumors, the iconic noontime show that has helped many people and entertained television viewers for 44 years may be ending.
According to an earlier story, an executive at Eat Bulaga intended to fire the show’s founding producer, Tony Tuviera. Other program hosts apparently supported Tuviera and were prepared to quit with him.
An article by Bilyonaryo revealed that the executive who wanted Tuviera to retire was former Zamboanga del Norte Rep. Romeo G. Jaloslos. Jaloslos apparently desired total control over Eat Bulaga.
Jalosjos currently serves as the chairman of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.). According to the article, Jalosjos wanted Willie Revillame to be a part of his new Eat Bulaga version and had previously approached the AllTV presenter about it.
It’s unclear whether Revillame was ready to return as a noontime show host. If Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon decided to depart Eat Bulaga, it was claimed that they would create another show called ‘Dabarkads.’
TVJ was also rumored to be intending to cast Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Allan K, and Maine Mendoza in the new show. Tuviera and Jalolos have yet to offer a statement on the matter.
