Rabiya Mateo received negative reactions following her ‘Fast Talk’ interview

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo is now being tagged “liar” due to the claim of a netizen who is supposedly the sister of her ex-boyfriend Neil Salvacion.

Rabiya revealed during her Fast Talk interview, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, the reason why she and Neil broke up. When it was confirmed that Rabiya and Neil broke up, speculations surface that the beauty queen left the man in his life for her crown.

After winning the national pageant, the breakup happened. Currently, Rabiya is in a relationship with Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales. During the interview, the Ticktoclock host revealed that Neil proposed to her but she had to turn that down because she still wants to do a lot of things for her career, and for her family.

On the other hand, Rabiya said that if Jeric will propose, she is ready to settle down a couple of years from now.

Following that interview, a certain Nhel Skie on Facebook, claiming to be the sister of Neil Salvacion, slammed Rabiya Mateo’s statement. According to Nhel, Rabiya accepted Neil’s proposal and she was even wearing the engagement ring before the international competition.

“Something happened along the way and you opted to commit a sin during the pageant and you have to own up to that,” Nhel claimed, adding that Neil just chose to be silent about this.
