Group of Unidentified Men Caught on Camera Beating Poor Delivery Rider in Lucena City
FOOD DELIVERY RIDER – A group of unidentified men has been caught on camera beating a poor delivery rider in Lucena City.
Nowadays, delivery riders work hard to earn money and provide for the financial necessities of their family. They usually endure the scorching heat of the sun and inclement weather conditions just to earn.
Unfortunately, some of them get unpleasant experiences and intense encounters with customers. Some of them were also involved in altercations, which leads to further trouble.
The Facebook page “Bandilyo” has shared video footage of a group of unidentified men beating a poor delivery rider in Lucena City. The video goes viral after it was posted on social media.
In the video, the delivery rider stopped at a gasoline station while attending to something. After a few moments, a group of guys suddenly attached the Food Panda rider who can’t even defend himself.
The group mercilessly mauled the rider. Some gasoline station employees tried to stop the group but they failed to do so for being outnumbered. Eventually, the group stopped and leave the area. The incident happened in Lucena City last January 8, 2023.
According to the police authorities, the commotions probably start due to a traffic altercation. The rider has been involved in a road rage incident and even showed a dirty finger before he leaves.
Lucena police are still investigating the incident to identify the suspects.
