Taguig RTC Allows Vhong Navarro to Post Bail

VHONG NAVARRO – The Taguig City Regional Trial Court allowed the actor to post a P1-million bail for his temporary freedom.

It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro is currently detained at Taguig Regional Trial Court due to the charges filed against him by model Deniece Cornejo. Their issue dates back 2014 and the actor’s camp admitted that they were shocked by the recent happenings on the legal battle.

A few days after Vhong and his wife, Tanya, celebrated their wedding anniversary, an arrest warrant against the Kapamilya actor was released. He voluntarily surrendered at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). He was detained at their Detention Facility for several weeks.

Navarro and his camp were worried about his safety if he will be transferred to Taguig City Jail. The BJMP assured the protection of the actor while he is under their custody. Following the commitment order, he was transferred in November to Taguig City Jail.
