Bela Padilla and Martin Tan were featured in a surprise interview
Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla and tech entrepreneur and CEO Martin Tan confirmed their relationship.
In an interview with content creator Johnny K for his reel series Meet Cute with Johnny K on Sunday, September 13, 2026, Bela and Martin revealed that they have been a couple for eight months.
Bela and Martin were spotted shopping at the Legazpi Sunday Market in Makati City when Johnny K approached them and asked if they were boyfriend and girlfriend.
Based on the article in PEP, the content creator asked Bela and Martin, while they were busy arranging their purchases, if they were a couple. Bela Padilla answered, “Yes.”
Since it was confirmed that the two were in a relationship, Johnny asked how they met. Martin shared that they met through a common friend. Bela said that they hit it off quickly and felt at ease with each other because of their shared love for movies.
“He said he likes movies, and I love movies also, so I was very, very excited when he started talking about this,” the actress shared.
When asked how long they have been together, Bela let Martin answer this. The businessman revealed that they have been together for 8 months now. It can be seen on Bela’s face that she agreed with what Martin said.
Then, Johnny asked Martin, “So, what’s your favorite thing about her?” The businessman answered, “Her brain, and she’s funny and beautiful.”
When Bela was asked the same question, she shared, “He’s game to try everything, like going to markets even if it’s early.”
The actress shared that she really feels the love that Martin has for her every time he would surprise her by planning for their vacation.
“When he knows I’m going through something, he’ll plan a trip. Yeah, I think beach trips, that’s my fave,” she shared.
As for Martin Tan, Bela Padilla apparently likes leaving notes in his bag, something he deeply appreciates whenever he reads what is written on them. “Little notes in my work bag,” Martin shared.
