His legal counsel filed a petition to let him stay at the NBI detention center throughout the duration of the case. However, this was denied.

Because of that decision, the comediane-host is now being detained at the Male Dormitory in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City Jail, based on the article in Balita. Previously, the camp of Kapamilya star expressed that they are hoping that their bail petition will be granted.

The hearing for Vhong Navarro’s bail petition ended last November 10. He seeks to be released while the hearing is being done for the rape case filed by model Deniece Cornejo against him. A warrant of arrest with no recommended bail was released against him.

However, as of this writing, the court has not released yet the decision regarding the bail petition that the celebrity filed. As the holidays are just around the corner, Vhong’s camp is hoping that the court’s decision will be favorable for him so that he can spend Christmas and New Year with his family.
