Sara Duterte Shares About Her First 100 Days In Office

SARA DUTERTE – Vice President and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte Sara Duterte-Carpio said her first 100 days in the office felt like 100 years.

Sara Vicenta Zimmerman Duterte-Carpio, also known as Inday Sara is a Filipino lawyer and politician. She is the 15th and current vice president of the Philippines.

Inday Sara formerly held the office of mayor of Davao City from 2010 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2022. She is the daughter of former president Rodrigo “Digong” Roa Duterte. She also served as vice mayor of Davao City from 2007 to 2010.

The youngest vice president in Philippine history, Inday Sara is also the third vice president to be a woman and to be from Mindanao. Sara also serves as secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The 44-year-old politician recently spoke on the possibility of allowing some schools to implement blended learning after November. She confirmed that the resumption of full face-to-face classes is eyed by the DepEd.

On Saturday, October 8, Sara Duterte entered her 100th day in office. The vice president took to her Instagram account to share what she felt in her first 100 days in the office.

The politician shared a selfie and wrote in the caption, “It feels like 100 years, not 100 days.”

As of this writing, Sara Duterte’s post has received over 39,000 likes.

Based on a report from Inquirer, the resumption of face-to-face classes, according to DepEd spokesperson Michael Poa, has been Sara’s biggest accomplishment in her first 100 days in office.
