DepEd Releases Order on Switch of Classes to Face-to-Face

DEPED – The Department of Education announced the date for the resumption of the full face-to-face classes in schools.

The COVID-19 pandemic urged schools to consider blended learning on a wider scale. To fight the spread of the virus and for the safety of the students, lessons are delivered through online classes or modules instead of the usual face-to-face classes in elementary and secondary schools.

It has been more than a year now since blended learning was adopted in the Philippine educational system. There are situations that are challenging on both the part of the teachers and the part of the learners amid this new mode of the delivery of instructions.

There were schools that piloted the resumption of face-to-face classes but the transition started slowly amid the ongoing existence of the pandemic in the Philippines and across the globe.
