It’s Showtime Hosts Shows Support For Vhong Navarro
VHONG NAVARRO – It’s Showtime hosts showed support for Vhong Navarro is now detained in National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over r*pe case.
Vhong Navarro is one of the mainstay hosts of Kapamilya Channel’s noontime program It’s Showtime. Today is the second day that Vhong has been absent from the show because of the case involving him, which started in January 2014.
The tv host was unable to leave the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) that he went to yesterday, September 19, because he surrendered and posted bail of P36,000 for the case of acts of lasciviousness filed by Deniece Cornejo, eight years ago.
Even after paying bail, Vhong Navarro was unable to obtain temporary freedom due to the unexpected issuance yesterday of an arrest warrant for the non-bailable r*pe case that was also filed by Cornejo.
What happened to Vhong prompted his fellow Streetboys to launch the “We Stand With Vhong Navarro” movement in support of the actor who they believe is a victim of justice.
Many netizens supported the “We Stand With Vhong Navarro” movement. They believe that he is innocent of Cornejo’s allegations.

In the live telecast of It’s Showtime this Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2022, friend, co-host, and fellow Streetboys member Jhong Hilario was the first to speak about his moral support for Vhong.
The hosts of It’s Showtime offered a group hug for Vhong as a show of support for the TV host-comedian.
“Kuys Vhong, nandito lang kami, kapit lang. We love you, Kuys Vhong,” Jhong said.
“Yes, Kuys Vhong, mag-group hug tayo para kay Vhong,” said Vice
Vice led the group hug, followed by the statement, “I love you, Vhong. We will all be praying for you Vhong!”
