In the recent It’s Showtime episode, Vice Ganda felt for Ryan Bang after the latter said this about the status of his heart.
Ryan Bang and Paola Grace Huyong publicly confirmed their relationship in 2023. Their love story started after they met while playing football, with Ryan sharing that he passed the ball to Paola during a game.
The couple got engaged in June 2024 after their families met; however, their engagement eventually ended. In 2026, Ryan officially confirmed their breakup and said he had been single since January. He explained that differences in their values, beliefs, and views about marriage contributed to the separation. He also denied that cheating or a third party caused the breakup.
Recently, during an episode of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda initiated a game where she called out the surnames of the people, including the hosts, who then had to respond with their current relationship status or the state of their hearts.
During the episode, when it was Ryan’s turn to answer, he said, “Nadurog parang paminta, pero may bubuo. Sino kaya?”
His response touched the hearts of many viewers and even moved Vice. The two share a close bond, often described as being like a mother and son.
Vice has been there through the different stages of Ryan’s love life—from the time he entered a relationship to when he got engaged and eventually to the difficult period when the engagement was called off.
