Mad Students in Eastern India Tie Their Teachers to Tree for Giving Them Bad Grades
EASTERN INDIA – Several mad students have tied their teachers to a tree and beat them for giving bad grades.
On Monday (August 29, 2022), the video footage of three men, supposedly school teachers were tied to a tree with a red rope. The students wearing uniforms surround them, which is similar to the movie Children of the Corn.
In the video, it can be seen that the students tied their teachers to the tree. The youngsters even beat them while shouting: “I want to make this video viral… these people were only involved, the public should know.“
However, it was still unclear if the teachers have suffered injuries from the incident. The officials are already investigating the alleged assault.
One of the victims revealed that the students of Scheduled Tribe residential school in Dumka, Jharkhand, eastern India got furious after receiving their grades.
Education officer Surendra Hebram explained that the teachers get frustrated after receiving less marks in practicals.
“We received info on incident & held talks with all teachers. When we reached there, students said that they were given very less marks in practicals & they didn’t receive an adequate response from their teachers,” Hebram said.
Gopikandar police official, Nityanand Bhokta said that 11 students received a DD grade (a failing mark) in their Class-IX examination, which prompted them to assault the teachers.
