Out of nowhere, this ex-MasterChef PH contestant mixed political issues in the candid statement of Judy Ann Santos about her cooking videos.
JUDY ANN SANTOS – Restaurant owner and actress Judy Ann Santos was criticized by MasterChef PH former contestant.
Prime Superstar and Queen of Philippine Soap Opera Judy Ann Santos is a restaurant owner. This is her fallback when she decided to lie low in show business. Apart from that, she also has a YouTube channel where she shares some of her recipes.
But just recently, she stopped doing videos. According to her, the prices of the ingredients are too high and expensive already and she doesn’t want to share something that her viewers can’t even follow or relate to because of the prices at current times.
This candid statement of her, however, turned political when an Ex-MasterChef PH contestant expressed her opinion about it. There is nothing political about the statement of the actress and also, she wasn’t involved in any political activities in this year’s election. She did not even vocally support anyone.
But this former contestant of the reality cooking show playfully created her comment and drag political issues in her critical comment about the Drama Queen. With the absence of any political issues in the statement of the actress, she questioned her ability to cook.
She doubted her and added that if this is her stand, how would she be able to make “Lugaw ni Leni” delicious. The former contestant told the Prime Star that in times like this, all it takes is just “diskarte” in finding cheaper alternatives for the ingredients.
“Juday wag lang mag-base sa mga natutuhan sa culinary school. Ang pagtaas ng mga bilihin normal yan ang hindi normal yung CHEF ka tapos hindi mo alam dumiskarte ng mga puede mong gamiting ingredients sa pagluluto. Paano kung mumurahing ingredients ang gagamitin mo, mapapasarap mo kaya yung lugaw ni Leni,” the ex-contestant said.

In another post, she even accused Juday as a pink supporter. But as much as many are aware, Juday did not announce who she supported. She did not campaign for anyone.
Many netizens got confused over her argument and how it quickly became political when it was all just about cooking. But there are also those who agreed with her saying that being resourceful is indeed the key to cooking something great despite the high prices of the ingredients at present times.
Meanwhile, Juday remained silent and did not give attention to the critical remarks of the former contestant in the reality show she used to host.
