Drama queen Judy Ann Santos speaks about these young stars who are “entitled” and “privileged”.
JUDY ANN SANTOS – Actress turned businesswoman Judy Ann Santos speaks about the attitude of some young stars of today.
The film and television actress who is now a successful business owner is Judy Ann Santos. She is most famous for her specialty and own recipe of adobo which she calls her “Angry-dobo”. But before becoming a restaurant owner, she is our country’s Prime Superstar and Queen of Philippine Soap Opera.
She started as a child star and her breakthrough television series is Mara Clara (1992). Followed by her high-rated television series such as Esperanza (1996), Basta’t Kasama Kita (2003), Sa Piling Mo (2006) and Ysabella (2007). Her famous leading men are Wowie de Guzman, Rico Yan, and Piolo Pascual.
And speaking about the artists of today, Juday couldn’t help but rave about how different the newbies of the industry are before and now. In the YouTube vlog of Meryll Soriano, she agreed when Soriano said that the discipline before and now is very different.
Meryll shared her encounter with a new star who did not prepare for his line. As for Juday, she believes that such a character may also be because of the people surrounding the young actress. It could be that they are spoiling the young star which is inappropriate.
She said, “Pero kung sa simula pa lang, itinuro mo na yung tamang paraan how to love and respect their job, yun ang dadalhin nila.”
Juday also recalled her young adult years. Accordingly, she would always make sure to who on time and have her lines memorize despite coming from a “gimik”. She also shared her humble beginnings as an actress. She experienced not having cellphones and not having her own tents but she can clearly remember how beautiful her journey was.
And as for privileged young stars, she expressed in the vlog that she actually wants to work with these entitled young stars to prove that what she heard were true.
