Stacey Daniella Gabriel speaks about Herlene Budol and if she ever threatens her in the competition.
HERLENE BUDOL – Is Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate Herlene Budol a threat to the other candidates of this year’s competition.
Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Binibining Pilipinas InterContinental, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe are the titles up for grabs in this year’s pageant. In a previous article, it has been announced that the coronation night this year will be held on July 31, 2022 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be the one to host this year’s pageant. And among the famous names joining this year’s competition is Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol.
Hipon Girl got included in the Top 40 candidates. With her fame and being known as this charming and honest personality, does she pose herself a threat to other candidates.
One candidate Binibini #1 Stacey Daniella Gabriel spoke about about this. She described Hipon Girl not as a threat but a ray of sunshine in the pageant because of her bubbly personality.
Stacey believes that all of them are deserving to get the crown and be a titleholder but the only competitor she sees and considers in the competition is herself. They went through a lot to be in that place and that made her believe that each of them “has an equal shot at the crown”.
She added speaking about herself as her competition in the pageant, “Rather, I only look at myself as competition. And I mean that with complete honesty because people might read that and think, ‘Hmm, I doubt that.’”
“But honestly, I knew the only way that I could win is if I compete against myself from yesterday. Constantly raising the bar for my own self, and beating my previous best,” she also said.
